Workday is looking for a Platform Engineer to strengthen its infrastructure team and contribute to the development, automation, and continuous improvement of cloud-based platform solutions.
Tavos pienākumos ietilps:
You will:
- cieši sadarboties ar produktu vadītājiem, programmatūras izstrādātājiem un kvalitātes nodrošināšanas (QA) speciālistiem, veicinot produkta attīstību un panākumus;
- nodrošināt stabilu un efektīvu infrastruktūras darbību gan iekšējām komandām, gan klientiem;
- automatizēt un pilnveidot esošos procesus, uzlabojot to efektivitāti un stabilitāti;
- izstrādāt un ieviest klientiem paredzētus infrastruktūras risinājumus, kas atbalsta produkta ilgtermiņa attīstību;
- nepārtraukti uzlabot platformas monitoringu, drošību un izmaksu efektivitāti.
- Work closely with product managers, software developers and QA engineers, contributing to success
- Ensure that infrastructure is functional and efficient for both internal teams and our customers
- Automate and improve existing processes to increase their efficiency and stability
- Design and implement customer-facing infrastructure solutions that support the product’s long-term development
- Continuously improve the platform’s observability, security, and cost efficiency
Nepieciešamās prasmes:
Qualifications:
- vismaz 3 gadu pieredze AWS infrastruktūras ieviešanā un uzturēšanā tīmekļa pakalpojumiem;
- pieredze Kubernetes klasteru un konteinerizētu risinājumu pārvaldībā;
- pieredze darbā ar infrastruktūras pārvaldību kā kodu (Infrastructure as Code), izmantojot Terraform vai līdzīgus rīkus;
- izpratne par risinājumu izvietošanu (deployment), izmantojot Helm Charts;
- pamatzināšanas Bash, Python vai kādā citā skriptu valodā;
- pamatizpratne par Linux un operētājsistēmu darbības principiem;
- teicamas problēmu risināšanas prasmes un analītiskā domāšana;
- vēlme apgūt jaunas tehnoloģijas.
- 3+ years of experience in implementing and maintaining AWS infrastructure for web services
- Experience in managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads
- Experience working with infrastructure-as-code approaches using Terraform or similar tools
- Familiarity with deploying workloads using Helm charts
- Basic knowledge of Bash, Python or any other scripting language
- Basic understanding of Linux and operating systems concepts
- Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
- Willingness to learn new technologies
