IT Infrastructure Supervisor

Šobrīd uzņēmums vēlas stiprināt savu IT komandu ar IT infrastruktūras pārvaldnieku/-ci. Šis amats ir piemērots tiem, kas vēlas uzņemties atbildīgu lomu uzņēmumā, veidojot drošu, stabilu un nākotnes prasībām atbilstošu IT vidi Adven Latvijas uzņēmumā.
A client of WorkingDay Latvia – Adven is a dynamic energy group, driving the energy transition by developing sustainable and competitive solutions in partnership with customers, municipalities, and suppliers in Finland, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, and the Netherlands. Adven Latvia provides district heating for Cēsis, Valmiera, and Sigulda municipalities, as well as energy services for industrial customers.
We are currently looking to strengthen the Adven IT team with an IT Infrastructure Supervisor. The position is suitable for those who want to play a key role in the company when it comes to creating secure, stable, and future-proof IT environments for Latvia’s business.

Kā IT infrastruktūras pārvaldnieks/-ce Tu būsi atbildīgs/-a par Adven Latvijas uzņēmuma IT infrastruktūras vadīšanu, plānošanu un uzraudzību. Tavā pārziņā būs komunikācijas risinājumu, tīklu, serveru un mākoņplatformu uzturēšana, lai nodrošinātu uzņēmumam drošu un stabilu IT vidi. Šī loma apvieno operatīvo darbu, kas ir cieši saistīts ar biznesa ikdienu, ar stratēģiskiem lēmumiem un risinājumiem, kas attiecas uz tehnoloģiju ieguldījumiem un sadarbību ar ārējiem partneriem. Ikdienā Tu sadarbosies ar kolēģiem no IT komandas Grupas ietvaros, vietējiem vadītājiem un ārējiem partneriem.
As an IT Infrastructure Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading, planning, and overseeing the organization’s IT infrastructure for Adven’s business in Latvia. You will work with, among other things, communications, networks, servers, and cloud platforms to ensure a stable and secure IT environment. The role combines operational work close to the business with strategic decisions and solutions regarding technology investments and external collaborations. You will work closely with colleagues from the IT department across the Group, local business managers, and external partners.

Work tasks:
- vadīt uzņēmuma IT infrastruktūras attīstību un pilnveidi, nodrošinot visaugstāko veiktspēju, drošību un sistemas spēju pielāgoties Latvijas biznesa darbībai;
- virzīt stratēģiskās tehnoloģiju iniciatīvas un ieguldījumus, kas veicina Adven attīstību Latvijā;
- sadarboties ar iekšējām komandām un ārējiem partneriem, lai nodrošinātu uzticamus tīkla, datu centru un mākoņrisinājumus;
- nodrošināt atbilstību IT standartiem un regulējumam, piemēram, ISO 27001 un NIS2 prasībām;
- uzraudzīt sistēmu veiktspēju, drošību un incidentu pārvaldību, lai Latvijas uzņēmuma darbība noritētu nevainojami;
- sniegt profesionālu atbalstu uzņēmuma infrastruktūras stratēģijas izstrādē un digitālās attīstības veicināšanā;
- dokumentēt tehniskās konfigurācijas un procesus, lai nodrošinātu efektīvu un ilgtspējīgu pārvaldību.
- Lead the development and evolution of our IT infrastructure to ensure top performance, security, and scalability for Latvia’s business operations
- Drive strategic technology initiatives and investments for Latvian business
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver reliable network, datacenter, and cloud solutions
- Ensure compliance with IT standards and regulations such as ISO-27001 and NIS2
- Oversee system performance, security, and incident management to keep our operations in Latvia running smoothly
- Act as a trusted advisor, shaping the company’s infrastructure strategy and supporting its digital growth
- Document technical configurations and processes for efficient and sustainable management

- vēlamu izglītību vai sertifikātiem tīklu pārvaldībā un arhitektūrā;
- pieredzi sadarbībā ar dažādām iesaistītajām pusēm – gan iekšējiem, gan ārējiem partneriem;
- pieredzi sadarbībā ar datu centriem un darbā ar mākoņtehnoloģijām;
- zināšanām informācijas drošības jomā;
- spēju brīvi komunicēt latviešu un angļu valodās (mutiski un rakstiski) ar sadarbības partneriem un kolēģiem ārpus Latvijas;
- B kategorijas autovadītāja apliecību, lai dotos uz uzņēmuma ražotnēm Latvijā.
- Have several years of experience in IT infrastructure and networks
- It is an advantage if you have training in network management and network architecture
- Have experience working with both internal and external stakeholders
- Have experience working with Datacenter environments and cloud solutions
- Understand information security
- Are fluent in Latvian and have a good knowledge of English in speech and writing, as it is required for daily communication with external partners and colleagues abroad
- Holds a B-category driving license to visit production sites across the country
