A client of WorkingDay Latvia – Origin Robotics operates in the field of unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) technology. The company has more than 10 years of experience in the field of autonomous aerial systems, integrates cost-efficient hardware with advanced software to unlock new defense capabilities.
By leveraging drone technology and sophisticated, AI-driven computer vision, it transforms conventional munitions into precision-guided systemsdelivering accuracy previously reserved for high-cost aircraft. Origin Robotics invites an experienced professional to join its team as an Electronics Engineer to create the technologies of the future.

Your main responsibility will be:
nodrošināt progresīvu elektronisko sistēmu izstrādi modernajām bezpilota gaisa sistēmām.
To lead the design and development of cutting-edge electronic systems for state-of-the-art unmanned aerial systems.
Tavos pienākumos ietilps:
Your responsibilities will also include:
- veidot modernas elektroniskās sistēmas un komponentes barošanas pārvaldību, sakaru sistēmas un vadības vienības;
- projektēt augstas veiktspējas iespiedshēmas plates (PCB), kas atbilst mūsdienu tehnoloģiju prasībām;
- izstrādāt un īstenot testēšanas protokolus, lai nodrošinātu sistēmu uzticamību un veiktspēju;
- analizēt un novērst aparatūras problēmas, uzlabojot dizainu efektivitātei un funkcionalitātei;
- darboties kopā ar mehānikas, vadības sistēmu un iegulto programmatūru inženieriem, lai nodrošinātu vienotu sistēmu integrāciju;
- sagatavot tehnisko dokumentāciju un ražošanai gatavas shēmas.
- Create advanced electronic systems and components, including power management, communication systems, and control units
- Design high-performance PCBs tailored to meet the demands of cutting-edge technologies
- Develop and execute testing protocols to ensure the reliability and performance of electronic systems
- Analyze and troubleshoot hardware issues, optimizing designs for functionality and efficiency
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, control systems, and embedded software engineers, to ensure seamless system integration
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and production-ready schematics
Tev būs nepieciešama/-as:
You will need:
- pieredze shēmu projektēšanā, PCB izkārtojumā un elektronisko sistēmu integrācijā;
- zināšanas analogajā un digitālajā elektronikā, tostarp mikrokontrolieros, sensoros un aktuatoros;
- prasme izmantot simulācijas rīkus (piemēram, SPICE) un EDA programmatūru (piemēram, Altium Designer);
- inovatīva domāšana un vēlme risināt sarežģītus tehniskus izaicinājumus;
- proaktīva attieksme pret mācīšanos un attīstību, sekojot līdzi jaunākajiem tehnoloģiskajiem risinājumiem;
- teicamas sadarbības prasmes un spēja efektīvi strādāt komandā;
- spēja skaidri formulēt idejas gan mutiski, gan rakstiski.
- Proficiency in circuit design, PCB layout, and electronic system integration
- Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics, including microcontrollers, sensors, and actuators
- Experience with simulation tools like SPICE and proficiency in using EDA software (e.g., Altium Designer)
- An innovative mindset with a passion for tackling complex technical challenges
- A proactive approach to learning and improving, staying ahead of technological advancements
- Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across disciplines
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities to articulate ideas and document designs
