Product Designer (Trading Platform)
A client of WorkingDay Latvia is EU based FinTech Software Solutions company offering major global brands innovative software solutions within the FinTech and tech sector. Operating for 5+ years company has grown and scaled exponentially and introduced new features to its 1 million+ user base. The company specializes in the development of complex, high-load products in the financial exchange domain (payment systems, trading, and analytical terminals). The company utilizes modern technologies in its development process, allowing it to promptly respond to customer requirements and client needs. Its products are used by thousands of people worldwide daily, and its servers handle millions of requests.
In addition to an existing arsenal of awesome award-winning products that the company already has, such as a trading platform, digital asset exchange, copy-trading, DeFi staking, and others – the team is building a plethora of new services, which will include the payments, licensed investing services (CFD/Forex) and much more.
Due to business expansion, the company is inviting a Product Designer (Trading Platform) to join their fast-growing, international remote team of bright individuals, and help take the company’s product to the next level.
Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Be a part of the product team that is responsible for the product from a design perspective, from discovery to delivery – always keeping in mind the customer journey
- From wire-framing to designing end-to-end flows and prototypes, you will be in charge of designing products that solve problems in a simple and elegant way while taking care of every small detail
- You will be partnering with the Product Owners, Engineers, Data Analysts, and other colleagues, working in a cross-functional and distributed team. Together, you will be actively involved in defining the customers’ and the business problems
You are a great fit if you have:
- 5+ years designing world-class complex commercial apps with a high-growth tech company or working in banking/finance-related business areas such as cryptocurrency, online trading and investing products
- Strong UX focus and understanding of human behavior
- An eye for great UI and a good understanding of design best practices
- Strong design skills across iOS, Android and web platforms
- A portfolio featuring examples of product design work
- The ability to think at a high level about product strategy and clearly articulate design decisions
- Experience formulating and driving a focused product vision, and owning the narrative with leadership, users, and partners
- Provide insight and deliver measurable results for sophisticated products under ambiguous situations in a fast-paced environment
- Fast-learning and never hesitant to roll up your sleeves and be hands-on
- An English language proficiency level of B2+
